About Sea Buckthorn Juice.
Sea buckthorn juice tastes like nothing else: sharp, citrusy and bright orange. Our juice is a concentrate made from sea buckthorn berries. It is thick, bright orange and very tangy, so it is meant to be diluted.
How to drink sea buckthorn juice
Shake the bottle well, then mix 15 to 30 ml (one to two tablespoons) in a glass of water. Many people take it first thing in the morning, either plain or with a spoon of honey.
Other ways people enjoy it:
- As a mocktail: with chilled soda, a squeeze of lime, a few mint leaves and a little honey.
- In lemonade: replace some of the lemon juice with sea buckthorn for an orange colour and deeper flavour.
- In smoothies: a tablespoon with mango, banana or yoghurt.
- In salad dressing: whisk with olive oil, honey, salt and pepper.
Why the bottle needs shaking
Sea buckthorn berries carry natural oils. In the bottle, these rise to the top and can form a thicker layer. That is normal, and a good shake brings it back together.
How long does a bottle last?
At 30 ml a day, a 300 ml bottle makes 10 glasses. At 15 ml a day it makes 20. The pack of 2 is the better buy if you drink it daily.
